Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell is the undisputed current King of Comedy. Ferrell first gained fame for his work on Saturday Night Live and followed that with a string of successful comedies, including Elf, Old School and Anchorman, to name a few. He co-created Funny or Die.com with Adam McKay, a site where anyone, famous or not, can post videos of what they think is funny, and where all users can vote on which videos are funny and which ones deserve to “die.” The site has huge ratings and an innovative approach to comedy. Who else can get Jewel to go undercover as a karaoke singer or make an Internet star out of a swearing two-year-old?

Ferrell is very proud of his Irish roots. In a previous interview with Irish Central to promote The Other Guys, he said, “I’ve been [to Ireland] six or seven times. The last trip I toured around with my brother and my Dad for two weeks and we ended with the James Joyce award.”

Ferrell was most recently heard onscreen as the titular character in Megamind, and will next be seen in theaters in the comedy Casa De Mi Padre with Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal.
