POLICE are appealing for information following a report of an attempted arson attack by a group of hooded men on a house in Co. Antrim. Two people inside the property at the time were injured in the incident, which occurred in Cushendun on Sunday evening. Police name man who died one month after Co. Tyrone collision

A MAN has died one month after being involved in a road traffic collision in Co. Tyrone. The collision, involving a car and a van, occurred shortly before 8.40pm on Sunday, December 22 in the Drumnakilly Road area of Omagh. TWO men who are wanted for offences in the Republic of Ireland and Lithuania have been extradited from Northern Ireland today. The 50th anniversary of Fleadh Nua took place in Ennis, Co. Clare, drawing thousands of traditional music fans from around the world. Fleadh Nua, which promotes Irish traditional music and culture, is one of many festivals that take place in Ireland during the summer, but it is credited with being the premier event of its kind. The Fleadh began in Dublin in 1970, where it was held in Croke Park, but it has been held annually in May in Ennis since 1974. The ever-growing event now takes place over 9 days and features concerts, singing, dancing and other performances.
