Irish Government approves nominations for 17 global ambassadors

THE Irish government has approved the nomination of 17 ambassadors for countries across the globe. They include representatives who will be positioned in newly established Irish Embassies in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova. Plans approved to evacuate sick children from Gaza to Ireland

UP to 30 sick children are due to be evacuated out of Gaza and brought to Ireland for medical care. A MAN from Co. Down has been jailed after drugs worth £3m were found in the back of his lorry — the largest single seizure by the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Irish playwright Martin McDonagh’s debut play “The Beauty Queen of Leenane” wins four Tony awards for its 1998 Broadway production.
