GARDAÍ are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a man who has been missing from Dublin for more than two weeks. Damien Downes, 43, was last seen in the Whitechurch area of Dublin 16 on Monday, July 22. Youth injured in hate crime as shop in West Belfast attacked

POLICE are treating an assault on a youth in West Belfast last night as a hate crime. The incident occurred after a shop on the Falls Road, believed to be owned by a migrant family, was attacked by a group of young people. THE PSNI has revealed six people have been arrested after officers dealt with a number of hate-related crimes and hate incidents across Belfast on Tuesday. June 5, 1968

Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
