Boy sustains life-threatening injuries after quad bike collision in Derry

A BOY has been left with life-threatening injuries following a collision involving a quad bike in Co. Derry. TWO men have been sentenced for their role in a 'savage' assault that left the victim with life-changing injuries. Former Sky Sports pundit and former footballer Chris Kamara has paid tribute to legendary GAA commentator Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, who passed away at the age of 93 this week. Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
