Man dies and another hospitalised following diving event in Co. Donegal

A MAN has died after taking part in a diving event in Co. Donegal on Saturday. The man, aged in his 40s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after being recovered from the water in the Teelin Bay area. A MAN and four youths have been arrested after three police officers were injured in Derry while investigating a report of a pellet gun being fired at members of the public. Co. Fermanagh man jailed over organised animal fights

A MAN from Co. Fermanagh has been jailed over his involvement in organised animal fights and other animal welfare offences. Jason Lee Kennedy, 35, from the Bellanaleck area was sentenced for offences including causing unnecessary suffering to animals and causing an animal fight. June 5, 1968

Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
