NEW restrictions on owning XL Bully type dogs will come into effect in Northern Ireland next month. A MAN and a woman were arrested after a car was driven at police officers while they policed a parade in Northern Ireland. A COUNCIL in Northern Ireland has been fined for failing to ensure the safety of an employee who was killed while working for the local authority. John Winton was working for Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council when he was hit by a bin lorry in Mount Eden, Limavady on November 6, 2018. June 5, 1968

Following his win in the California and South Dakota primaries, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made a speech addressing his campaign supporters at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, California. In an effort to make it to a press conference on time, Kennedy decided to pass through the kitchen, where he was shot by Sirhan Bishara Sirhan. He sustained three gun shot wounds and was immediately rushed to The Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite surgery, Kennedy died the next morning on June 6, 1968.
