Three deaths on Irish roads over bank holiday weekend brings total fatalities to 58 this year

SOME 58 people have been killed on Ireland’s roads so far in 2024 newly released figures reveal. That is 16 more lives that have been lost in collisions this year than at the same point last year. Man appears in court over alleged assault and endangerment at Donegal heritage site

A MAN has appeared in court in Donegal charged in connection with an alleged assault and endangerment in the county over the weekend. Tributes to cyclist killed in collision with car as funeral set to take place

A CYCLIST who was killed in a collision with a car in Kildare will be laid to rest tomorrow. Gar Fennelly, of Bennekerry in Co. Carlow, died when the bicycle he was riding collided with a car at Knocknagee at around 11.20am on Easter Sunday (March 31).
