IRELAND has confirmed €40m in humanitarian funding for Ukraine in response to the ongoing conflict with Russia. Cyclist dies after collision involving truck in Dublin

A MAN has died after a collision involving a truck and a cyclist in Dublin this afternoon. The incident occurred shortly before 1pm at the junction of Middle Abbey Street and O'Connell Street in the city centre. Police appeal after three men assaulted in popular Irish bar in Birmingham

POLICE in Birmingham have appealed for information after three men were assaulted in a popular Irish bar in the city. Riots broke out in Londonderry after mid-Ulster MP Bernadette Devlin was arrested. Devlin, who participated in the Bogside riots of 1969, was sentenced to six months in jail. She had previously applied for an appeal, which was rejected by the Northern Ireland Court of Appeals. When police attempted to arrest Devlin at a roadblock in Londonderry, violence quickly escalated with the use of petrol bombs to which soldiers responded with tear gas.
