SIMON HARRIS has said he plans to seek government approval to suspend trade with businesses within the occupied Palestinian territories. Donegal woman, 82, dies in collision in Co. Tyrone

A WOMAN from Co. Donegal has died in a two-vehicle collision in Co. Tyrone. Bernadette (Bernie) Cranley, 82, from Lifford died in the incident outside Omagh on Saturday afternoon. On this day, Eamon de Valera abolished the Oath of Allegiance, a provisional aspect in the Anglo-Irish treaty of 1921. This provisional aspect originally required all members of the Irish parliament to take an oath declaring their allegiance to the King. This date also marked when de Valera withheld land annuities from England.
