Receiver appointed to forcibly collect unpaid fines from Enoch Burke

THE High Court in Ireland has given the go ahead for a State-appointed receiver to collect unpaid fines from the salary of Enoch Burke. As it stands, he currently owes around €80,000. Man dies in hospital from injuries sustained in St Patrick’s Day collision

AN investigation is underway after a man died from injuries sustained in a St Patrick’s Day collision in Co. Donegal. The National Association of Ireland is founded in Dublin on this day in 1864. The group was heavily supported by the Catholic clergy, priests and bishops. The intention of the association was to foster cooperation with English radicals and to further promote the disestablishment of the Anglican Church of Ireland.
