A MAN has been arrested after three people were injured in what gardaí described as a 'serious incident' in Dublin this afternoon. Arrest after Co. Derry assault leaves man in critical condition

POLICE investigating a report of a recent serious assault in Co. Derry that left a man in a critical condition have made an arrest. Denis Johnston, Irish playwright and protege of W.B. Yeats and George Bernard Shaw, was born on this day in 1901. Johnston’s first play, “The Old Lady Says No!” helped establish his career as a playwright. “The Moon in the Yellow River” (1931) is perhaps his most well known play.
