THREE men have been arrested in Co. Cork as part of an investigation into human trafficking. The men were detained following a series of searches on Saturday morning involving more than 100 gardaí. Elderly woman hospitalised in tractor hit-and-run in Co. Tipperary

GARDAÍ have appealed for information after an elderly woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run involving a tractor in Co. Tipperary. AN Andy Warhol Exhibition has proven a record-breaker in Ireland after attracting 135,000 people to a Dublin gallery. The Andy Warhol Three Times Out exhibition was open at the Hugh Lane Gallery from October 6, 2023 to January 28, 2024. CELEBRITY chef Dave Myers has died, aged 66, his family has confirmed. The ban restricting Catholics from attending Trinity College Dublin is finally lifted on this day in 1970. Through the help of the then Archbishop of Dublin John McQuaid, the Roman Catholic church removes its policy of disapproval or even excommunication for Catholics who enrolled at Trinity College without the proper permission. Authorities at the school also allow for a Catholic chaplain to be based at the college.
