‘Devastating’: Hundreds of jobs set to be lost at Ulster University

HUNDREDS of jobs are set to be lost at Ulster University. The university, which employs more than 3,000 staff at its campuses in Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine and Derry, has confirmed the loss of up to 450 jobs, although full details of the planned job cuts have yet to be revealed. Images released of man wanted in connection with alleged sexual assault in Irish bar in Sheffield

POLICE in South Yorkshire have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a woman in an Irish-themed bar in Sheffield. Two more men charged with murder of 21-year-old Finbar Sullivan in London

TWO more men have been charged with the murder of Finbar Sullivan in London last week. Mr Sullivan, 21, was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill at around 6.40pm last Tuesday, April 7. POLICE have arrested a 16-year-old boy in Co. Armagh in connection with a cyber attack on schools in Northern Ireland. Just before the publication of the Saville Report, the inquiry into Derry’s 1972 Bloody Sunday, British Prime Minister David Cameron makes a speech at Westminster Abbey in which he says that the event was “unjustified and unjustifiable.” Cameron also apologizes on behalf of the British government. On this same day, thousands of people gather at the memorial and march to Guildhall, where Cameron’s speech is televised.
