TWO Taylor Swift fans were swindled out of £1k after being sold fake concert tickets by scammers. The victims are among 299 reports of ticket scamming incidents reported in Northern Ireland over the past 12 months which amount to an eye-watering £300,000. ‘Predatory’ police officer who had sex with vulnerable woman dismissed

A POLICE officer was dismissed from the PSNI after using his position of authority to have sex with a vulnerable woman while on duty. The findings of a Police Ombudsman investigation have been released, which found the officer had sex with the woman at an industrial estate in Antrim while on duty in 2016. Victim named after body found in house in Kildare

GARDAÍ are investigating after a body was found at a house in Co. Kildare. Officers were called to the property in Eustace Demesne in Naas at around 1.30pm on April 14. Bill Doolin, famous western outlaw of Irish descent, escaped from jail on this day in 1896. Born in Arkansas, Doolin went west and worked several jobs as a cowboy on Oklahoma ranches. He eventually became a member of the Dalton gang, who attempted several robberies. In 1892, Doolin formed his own gang called the Wild Bunch, which became the most infamous outlaw group of the west at that time. Doolin was eventually shot and killed by U.S. Marshal Heck Thomas.
