£250,000 in cash and suspected cocaine seized during vehicle stop in Co. Down

POLICE have seized around £250,000 in cash and suspected cocaine valued at more than £100,000 during a vehicle stop in Co. Down. POLICE have named a couple who were found dead at a property in Greenock, Scotland as Neil and Alison McLaughlin. Man jailed for almost 30 years for historical sexual offences against children

A MAN from Merseyside has been sentenced to almost 30 years in prison for a string of historical sexual offences against children. Protestant William of Orange and his forces defeated Catholic James II on this day in 1690 at Battle of the Boyne. William’s victory rendered James II’s attempt to regain the British throne unsuccessful and allowed for a continuation of Protestant ascendancy in Ireland. The battle was fought across the River Boyne near Drogheda. July 12 is also known as “The Twelfth” or “Orange Day” in Belfast.
