Peter is an accomplished Corporate Advisor and Director serving on NYSE and privately held Corporate Boards. He previously served in executive roles in several global CPG companies, directing the growth of market leading brands in beverage, alcohol, personal care products, power tools and electronics.
His leadership experience includes serving as CEO of Trait Biosciences, President, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at Diageo, VP European Marketing at Proctor & Gamble, VP Marketing at Gillette, and business school professor at The University of Canterbury in Christchurch NZ.
Peter’s success includes launching iconic brands such as Mach 3 Razors, Venus for Women Razors, Dewalt Power Tools and Crown Royal Flavored Whiskies. True to his Irish heritage, he’s proud of earlier roles leading the marketing for Baileys Irish Cream, and Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks beers. His insights for leading these iconic Irish brands can be traced to his college days working as a bartender in Dublin.
Peter is a graduate of Cornell University and the Wharton School of Business. His proud Irish heritage flows from his four grandparents immigrating from Leitrim and Galway. His celebration of St Patrick is influenced by his Godmother (Margaret O’Rourke) who was a long serving Director on the NYC St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
