Belfast man jailed over historic sexual abuse of girl

A MAN from Belfast has been jailed after he was convicted of two counts of indecent assault on a young girl. At Belfast Crown Court on Thursday, 50-year-old William Sale was handed a 14-month custodial sentence. TWO men have been hospitalised following a shooting and a report of violent disorder in Co. Offaly on Friday. A MULTI-AGENCY search is underway for a man missing from Co. Kerry. Michael Gaine, 56, who also goes by Mike, was reported missing from his home near Kenmare on Friday.
