Pair charged with murder following collision in which boy, 4, died

TWO men have been charged with murder following a collision in which a four-year-old boy died. Patrick Maughan, 53, and 27-year-old Owen Maughan, both from Hill Rise, Darenth, Kent, were arrested on Monday in connection with the incident, which occurred the previous day. Murder investigation launched following death of 71-year-old woman in Belfast

Anne Maeve Binchy was born in Dalkey, County Dublin. Known to the world as Maeve Binchy, she would go on to become a revered novelist, playwright, short story writer, columnist and speaker. Binchy was beloved for her descriptive characters and charmingly humorous portrayals of life in Ireland. Her novels sold more than 40 million copies worldwide. She died in 2012 at the age of 73.
