GARDAÍ have said they are 'investigating all the circumstances' following the discovery of a man's body in Co. Cork. The body of the man, aged in his 50s, was found at a residential property on Dominic Street in Cork City in the early hours of this morning. Young man in critical condition following e-scooter incident in Co. Kerry

A YOUNG man is in a critical condition in hospital following an e-scooter incident in Co. Kerry on Saturday evening. Gardaí said the incident occurred at around 6.30pm on Saint Brendan's Road in Tralee. Soldier F to stand trial for murder of two men on Bloody Sunday

A JUDGE has ruled that there is sufficient evidence for a former British soldier to stand trial for the murder of two men on Bloody Sunday. The man, known as Solider F, had applied in June to have the case dismissed, however, Judge Mr Justice Fowler rejected the application at Belfast Crown Court on Friday. ESB says 395,000 customers left without power following Storm Darragh

ALMOST 400,000 customers were left without power as Storm Darragh battered Ireland at the weekend. A further 48,000 were similarly affected in Northern Ireland at the peak of the outages. Actor Liam Neeson was born William John Neeson on this day in 1952 in Co. Antrim. Neeson worked several jobs, such as a forklift operator for Guinness, before joining the Belfast Lyric Players’ Theater. He eventually moved to work at Dublin’s Abbey Theater, where he performed in many of the classics. After his role in Suspect (1987), Neeson began to star in many more films. He was picked to play the role of Oskar Schindler in Spielberg’s 1993 Schindler’s List. He was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. Neeson was also nominated for a Tony award. Liam Neeson has starred in several films in which he had a connection with his roots, such as Rob Roy and Michael Collins.
