Man fined £50k for destroying historic lime kilns dating back to 1800s

A 64-YEAR-OLD man has been fined £50,000 for damaging historic monuments located in Co. Antrim which date back to the 1800s. A MAN from Co. Down has been jailed in England for intimidating a witness involved in a court case where a paedophile was convicted for child sex offences. A MAN has been jailed after pleading guilty to possessing explosives that were discovered during a police search. Patrick McCann, 42, from Belfast was sentenced today having previously pleaded guilty to four counts of possession of explosives in suspicious circumstances.
