The 11th annual Tom Quinlan lecture at Glucksman Ireland House NYU will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm. As in past years, the “lecture” will feature a poetry reading by a prominent Irish poet. President Michael D. Higgins was in New York in September for the United Nations General Assembly, where he attended many high-level bilateral meetings with other world leaders. While in New York, he also participated in various other events around the city with the Irish diaspora.
