Tiernan Cracks Up

By Irish America Staff

Irish comedien Tommy Tiernan introduced U.S. audiences to his West of Ireland humor when he brought his show, Cracked, to New York City in early October. The crowd were riotous and warmly received Tiernan, who is fast becoming one of the most popular stand-up comedians across Ireland and the U.K. He recounted his command performance in London for Prince Charles, joked about family life, and brought the house down with his Irish caveman imitation. He also tackled taboo subjects including Catholicism and sex. Cracked was a fantastic introduction to a great Irish comic. ♦
