A BELFAST man has been jailed for a “horrific” assault on his ex-partner. Poor weather delays sinking of smuggling ship in Co. Mayo

THE sinking of a smuggling ship in Co. Mayo has been delayed due to bad weather in Ireland. The MV Shingle is currently in dry dock in New Ross Harbour in Co. A MAN from Ireland been convicted of hunting a fox with hounds in Cheshire, England. John Finnegan, 39, from Dean Hill, Hayse, Navan, Co. Actor Liam Neeson was born William John Neeson on this day in 1952 in Co. Antrim. Neeson worked several jobs, such as a forklift operator for Guinness, before joining the Belfast Lyric Players’ Theater. He eventually moved to work at Dublin’s Abbey Theater, where he performed in many of the classics. After his role in Suspect (1987), Neeson began to star in many more films. He was picked to play the role of Oskar Schindler in Spielberg’s 1993 Schindler’s List. He was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. Neeson was also nominated for a Tony award. Liam Neeson has starred in several films in which he had a connection with his roots, such as Rob Roy and Michael Collins.
