Man dies and five people injured in two separate collisions in Tipperary

A PENSIONER has died following a collision in Co. Tipperary. The driver, who was aged in his 70s, was seriously injured in the single vehicle collision on the R660 at Holycross at around 2.15pm on February 7. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision in Co. Louth. Thousands of Irish, New Yorkers, and Irish Americans paid tribute to the many Irish and Irish Americans lost in the 9/11 attacks on this day in 2001. The mass took place at the Roman Catholic Holy Trinity Church in Manhattan and was celebrated by Bishop John Buckley of Cork. The Bishop of Killaloe, William Walsh, was also in attendance.
