I was giving a test to my 4th graders when the principal came in and whispered to me what had happened. Some parents came and took their children home. We were glued to the television when we got home. The United States was in shock. God bless all who lost their lives. God bless America.
Great photos, Mr. Foley. I was a writer/photographer for Rivertown Magazine and covered Memorials for those heroes from Rockland County who perished in 9/11. The Man in the Red Bandana was a Nyack native and he saved many people before he died in the disaster.
